Week 2 - SANM 560

After showing off our first actual progress to the professors felt a lot more prepared going forward. We got critique and feedback and met after class to talk about what we should change and what needs more work. Our director decided that we needed more build up to the scene, a reason why our character is drinking a Gatorade and wants to be transported to the stadium. We were also given the suggestion to add a crowd to the back of the stadium, which would add a lot more work to our plate. We met again to finalize some details for the shot list so that Dhruv could rework the storyboards and I could redo the pre vis. When Druhv finished the preliminary storyboards I handed them over to my roommate who is a storyboard and concept art major to clean them up and finalize them. I created a similar but completely new pre vis to reflect the changes. William had successfully ported the change effect from the living room to the stadium in unreal and showed it off during class. All these new details as well as Seyi and Akshat’s efforts to lock down location and crew for filming in Atlanta we included into the SyncSketch project Seyi put together. I also take notes for our team during mentor critiques and communicate them back to the group.
