Senior Project - Week 7

After a brief hiatus to work on one of my other classes (see SANM 560 Fall 25') I am back on working on the collector's museum. As stated previously, have procured a bunch of assets. I am importing them into Unreal, often having to merge, change pivot points, and drastically change scale to fit the scene. There is always a lot of troubleshooting when importing assets, but I have a pretty good workflow at this point. Some imported assets have an automatic emissive property that I am finding difficult to get off without turning the texture completely black. I have figured it out on some but not all at the moment. I also spent a while cleaning up some of my lights in my scene. I realized I had way too many overlapping and was causing performance issues. While I know I shouldn't be too worried as this will be rendered out and not actual gameplay, I still want to be conscious of it and that is something I learned on my other project. I also had a portfolio review from Virtual Production Supervisor Eve Roth who gave me a lot of good tips and was looking forward to see how this project turns out.
