We made a post-production task worksheet and assigned everyone with deadlines. We saw the first rounds of the rough cut as well as some of the VFX shots which are coming together. It was really interesting to see how it all came together on film. There were a couple continuity things that I missed which I was a bit bummed that I missed but nothing super crazy. I hope the color grading team can bring up the exposure, it felt way dark for me which I noticed on set too. I made sure to note down the assignments when people volunteered in class during discussion, so we didn't have to go over it again later. My task is doing breakdowns of the project and expanding on the workflow that we did. I met with Danci about the website to figure out a layout to properly display the information and keep if people were interested could access further details without it being overwhelming to skim through. I also created a Google Forms to collect peoples' headshots and websites so that we can credit them on a team member page for the website. We also had the CEO of Gearbox, a video game company, Matthew Ward, as well as the Dean of Animation and Motion, Dean Bartlett come in for us to give a presentation on the work we have done this quarter and show them what we have so far. Everyone received topics to talk about and make a couple slides on it. There were a few awkward moments when we were running through the presentation where the Professor would prompt the person to talk about how they did this certain task that was under their job title, then they would give her a blank look. It then would come out in some way that I was the one who did it. I felt a bit bad because it was never my intention to take over someone's job for them or overstep in my role. I don't think I necessarily did I honestly thing people just weren't exactly sure what was all involved in their specific role, and I ended up filling in the gaps when needed. During the presentation Dean Bartlett was very impressed with our workflow saying it was the most advanced he had seen by students. Matthew Ward also was very interested in the Hyperdoc that I had made as the breakdowns I had made the show how we did everything. I was very excited to see everyone so jazzed for our project. It's a bit overwhelming the attention we have been getting but this really feels like all the work over the years at SCAD is really paying off and this is what I have been waiting for. I just hope I don't mess it up haha.
