I am always keeping the masterdoc fully updated. With the finalized script I added it to the Dropbox and added a link to it. Weston created a deadlines slideshow which has now been added as a link. Any tutorial that someone posts on slack I post to the respective page in the master document. People say that it has been helpful and Danci added a an awesome few pages on Unreal asset guidelines. Nate had added the irl cameras to the Unreal scene and gave them the proper settings. Danci and I worked together (Danci did all the hard work) to make those into blueprints that anyone can drag in their scene to test how it may look on the stage. I worked through the basics of perforce to familiarize myself with the program if anyone came to me with questions. I went through the Unreal project folder and added all the appropriate folders and structures we had established the year before. I sent out a friendly reminder to make sure to stick to the designated file structure and naming conventions so that everyone can easily work and understand everything. I created a separate spreadsheet for asset sign up and tracking. Everyone can access this and keep it updated for set dressing and layout. I marked the models that need to be created by the prop department that then need to be photo scanned and cleaned up. Then also the priority in which these objects need to be done. I sent it out to the whole team but will be notifying the modeling team specifically to start assigning. I also created a Maya scene containing grass an flower models in different LODs for the modelers and textures to look at as reference for when they create their foliage for the scene. As our scene will be heavy on foliage and need to run smoothly on the stage, we need to make sure to keep all models low poly and let alpha opacity channels and textures do the work. I was wondering the other day if anyone had established a proper workflow and realized that that job was actually assigned to me. I will be working on that in the upcoming days.
