Week 1 - SANM 560

For our first day we created our groups and decided on a product. We decided a drink

commercial would be the best course of action for our skillsets. We talked about our capabilities and strengths which includes live action and the XR Stage. A few of us put together brief pitch decks for some ideas and posted them to the slack channel. Wednesday night we went through the ideas and settled on a joint Gatorade and Nike commercial based on the upcoming world cup. We put together inspirations, references, and commercials that we are drawing from into a pitch deck to present to the mentors. After class we met to lock down a story and more precise details. We ended up working on a couple rounds of storyboards, worked out a shot list, worked with a DP to make sure it was realistic and comprehensive. Went through some preliminary previs and a lot more detailed pitch deck. Here is some screenshots from the previs work I did:
